MY TRACK RECORD IN THE FILM INDUSTRY

1. Grew WUFPA from 13 to 345 producers, uniting all 6 sub-regions of Western Uganda.

2. First regional leader to fully collaborate with UFMI leadership and CEOs and supported UFMI licence to Distributors.

3. Led major capacity-building with UFN, UFA, UFPA, Film Possible, PGU, Actors Guild, UNESCO, USA Mission, French & German Embassies.

4. Linked Western Uganda to international producers like Joshua Stone (Nickelodeon), Janson Zavaleta & European Film Stunt trainers.

5. Created WUFPA Kibanda Film Market, now adopted by NUFA & recognized regionally, and organized western Film distributors in one umbrella.

6. Advocated for RFC (UCC) and introduced WUFPA Awards Gala & Kitara Film Festival coming soon.

7. United country side associations WUFPA, NUFA & EUFPA towards forming the Uganda National Film Association Apex Body.

8. Launched UFMI “Together Against Piracy” program in Western Uganda.

9. Started Western Uganda Film Makers SACCO.

10. Built BFI Eco-Tourism & Cultural Heritage Project for film locations and props.

11. Initiated annual WUFPA Benchmarking tour to national and international festivals … Uganda, Zanzibar & Mashariki Film Festivals.

12. Supported government culture programs and partnered with Pearlwood on capacity building.
